• Occlusal/Bite therapy

The way in which your teeth meet together is called "occlusion" ( the bite). Occlusion is natures's way of balancing head and neck posture. We, at Integrated dentalcare, have an advanced understanding of occlusion allowing us to detect specific reasons that cause harmful bite patterns.

When there are discrepancies with the bite these can cause problems such as:

• tooth wear/sensitivity
• aching jaw muscles/joints
• clicking or looking of the jaw joint
• tenderness of the facial muscles which extends to the neck and shoulders resulting in neck stiffness of limited movement.
• headaches

Occlusal therapies that we offer togethr in refining the bite together with the use of customised hard splints may be able resolve these problems.

• Routine Dental Examination

• Standard Hygienist Visit

1. Assessment of oral hygiene and more in depth analysis of gum problems.
2. Delivering a thorough cleaning and polishing of the teeth resulting in the removal of bacteria and calcified plaque in the mouth.
3. Advice on homecare to maintain excellant oral hygiene and as a result reduce the risk of more dental problems. 

 

• Composite (tooth coloured filling)

As with everything in life there are various grades of quality of tooth coloured resin filling materials. This affects the final appearance and result as well as the longevity of the actual material. We only use highest quality products selected for there durability and unsurpassed ability to mimic natural teeth. These materials have ceramic nano-particles and as a result a nearly similar wear characteristics of natural teeth.

	Numerous colours from a premium resin colour palate have been selected to represent the minute nuances in the natural teeth. The resin has then been sculpted to give the ideal bite and allow it to blend into the surroundings: invisible dentistry!

• Premium customised natural looking dentures

Everything is in the planning. From sitting down with the patient to discuss their desires and requirements to looking at all the options together to see what will best suit that particular individual. From selecting what result the client wants to achieve: natural or hollywood right down to the detail of how each individual tooth and gum area should look. This is the art of customised dentures: so real and comfortable that even you may forget that they are not your own! Of course if you want the dentures to be absolutely rigid so that you can eat practically anything than implant supported dentures may be the solution.

  

With this lady our brief was to create dentures which made her look more youthful and blended in with the rest of the smile and the mouth. Each area of the artificial gum was shaped to mimic the light reflection and surface texture of the natural teeth areas. The teeth were set slightly imperfectly. This allows the denture to blend in perfectly.
